PINEAPPLE PORK CHOPS AND RICE 
6 pork chops, cut 1/4 inch thick
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tbsp. butter
1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple
1 c. water
3/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. minute rice

Season pork chops with salt and pepper. Brown well in butter in large skillet. Add pineapple. Reduce heat; cover and simmer until tender (approximately 20 minutes). Move chops to one side; add water and salt. Bring to a boil; stir in rice and cover. Remove from heat and let stand 5 minutes. Serves 3-4.
