POPCORN BALLS 
1 c. sugar
1/3 c. white corn syrup
1/4 c. butter
1/3 c. water
3/4 tsp. vanilla
6 qt. popped corn

Combine sugar, white corn syrup, butter, and water in a kettle, stirring to dissolve sugar. Cook over medium heat. Boil until the syrup spins a thin thread. Add vanilla. Immediately pour syrup over popped corn in a large greased kettle. Allow syrup to cool slightly before forming balls.
