FRUIT COCKTAIL BREAD 
1/3 c. whipped butter
2/3 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/4 c. milk
1 (17 oz.) fruit cocktail, drained
1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)
2 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. nutmeg

Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Blend in milk. Add fruit cocktail and nuts; mix well. Add combined dry ingredients, mixing just until moistened. Pour batter into greased and floured 9x5-inch loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees 50-55 minutes or until wooden pick comes out clean.
