STRAWBERRY PIE 
1 baked pie shell - cool
1 qt strawberries, pack berries in shell

Glaze:

3/4 C sugar
2 tbsp corn starch
2 tbsp white Karo syrup
1 C water

Mix all ingredients for glaze, cook, stirring until it boils. Reduce heat and cook until mixture thickens and clears somewhat. Add 3 Tbsp strawberry jello, and cook until it melts.

Remove from heat and let cool. Spoon over the strawberries. Top with Cool Whip.
