BREAKFAST CASSEROLE 
1 lb. sausage links, cooked (or bulk sausage, crumbled)
6 eggs
1 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1 lb. Monterey Jack cheese
Fresh bread squares, trim off crusts

Use 8 x 8 inch pan. If recipe is doubled, use 9 x 13 inch pan.

Cut bread into 1/2 inch cubes and fill pan half full. Fry sausage links and cut into thirds. Grate cheese and mix with links and cut into thirds. Grate cheese and mix with links and bread. Beat eggs and milk and salt. Pour over mixture. Can be prepared the night before, covered and refrigerated. In the morning breakfast is cooked with little effort. Bake uncovered in oven at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Serves 4 adults.
