4 slices bacon 1 1/2 lbs. hamburger 1 Portuguese sausage, sliced 1 onion, minced 2 (8 oz. each) cans tomato sauce 2 (10 oz. each) cans tomato soup 2 (15 1/4 oz. each) cans kidney beans 2 (14 1/2 oz. each) cans stewed tomatoes 2 tbsp. chili powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. garlic salt Heat large saucepan. Brown bacon; add in hamburger and sausage. Cook until meat changes color. Add in the onions and cook until clear. Add in the remaining ingredients. Bring to boil, lower heat and simmer for 1 hour. Serves 12. |
