APRIL'S APRICOT SQUARES | |
3/4 c. shortening 1/4 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. anise 2 c. flour and 2 tbsp. flour 1/2 tsp. vanilla 2 eggs 1 1/2 c. coconut 1 c. sugar 1 1/2 c. finely chopped nuts 1 jar apricot jam Mix ingredients together except jam. Spread 1/2 in a shallow pan 9 x 9 inches. Cover with 1/2 jar of apricot jam. Put in rest of mixture and cover with remaining jam. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes. |
