LASAGNA SHORT CUT STYLE | |
1 lb. ground beef 1 (#2) can tomatoes 1 (8 oz.) can seasoned tomato sauce 1 env. spaghetti sauce mix 2 cloves garlic, minced or garlic flakes 8 oz. lasagna noodles or wide noodles 1 (6 oz.) pkg. thinly sliced Mozzarella cheese 1 c. cream style cottage cheese 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese Brown meat, pour fat off. Add the next 4 ingredients. Cover and simmer 40 minutes, stirring occasionally. Salt to taste, cook noodles in boiling water until tender, rinse in cold water. Place half of noodles in 11 x 7 1/2 inch dish. Cover and layer the rest of the ingredients adding 1/2 of cheese and cottage cheese. Ending with sauce and Parmesan cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes, then let stand 5 minute; cut in squares. 6-8 servings. |
