1 c. raisins
1 c. water
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. oatmeal
1 1/2 to 2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. nuts
1 c. sugar

Boil raisins in water until soft. Cool. Cream butter and sugar; add eggs and beat. Add vanilla and cinnamon. Add raisins, soda and liquid from raisins. Add oatmeal, flour and nuts. Drop from spoon on cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees until done.
