OVEN STEW 
2 lbs. beef, cut in 1 inch cubes
1 onion, chopped
3-6 carrots, diced
4-6 potatoes, cubed
1/2 c. chopped celery
1 (8 oz.) can cream of chicken soup
1 (8 oz.) can water

Flour and brown meat in oil. Layer above ingredients in 9x13 inch baking dish. Pour soup mixed with water over top. Salt and pepper to taste. Cover and bake 325 degrees, 2 1/2 - 3 hours. Serves 4-6.

Green beans and/or mushrooms may be added the last half hour. Any brand of soup may be used.
