BAKE AND LEAVE CHICKEN 
1/2 c. butter
6 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 lb. mushrooms, thinly sliced
3 whole chicken breasts, halved or 1 (3 1/2 lb.) broiler, cut up
Paprika
Pepper

Melt butter in shallow roasting pan (to hold all chicken in single layer). Spoon out 2 tablespoons melted butter (save), stir in lemon juice. Saute mushrooms in reserved butter in large skillet for 3 minutes.

Arrange chicken in single layer in first pan. Turn over to coat. Spoon mushroom over chicken. Sprinkle with pepper and paprika. Bake covered at 250 degrees for 1 hour and 45 minutes. Uncover and bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes until brown. May be cooked early and refrigerated. Gravy may be thickened.
