FRESH PEACH CREAM PIE 
3/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
3 tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. milk
2 egg yolks, well beaten
1 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. lemon juice
2 c. sliced fresh, ripe peaches

Mix sugar, flour, cornstarch, and salt. Add mix slowly and cook over boiling water until mixture begins to thicken. Add well beaten egg yolks and butter. Continue cooking until mixture thickens. Add lemon juice and cool.

Arrange 1 cup of sliced peaches in a baked pie shell. Pour in filling and top with remaining peaches. Chill thoroughly. Top with sweetened whipped cream.
