RICE HOT DISH WITH WATER
CHESTNUTS
 
1 c. raw rice, cooked
1 lb. hamburger, browned
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
1 1/2 c. chopped celery
1 1/2 cans water
1 can drained water chestnuts
Pepper & soy sauce to taste

Combine the above ingredients and bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. Keep covered for part of baking time. Test for dryness. The last 5 to 10 minutes cover the top with a thin layer of chow mein noodles.
