SAUERKRAUT 
1 lb. sauerkraut
1 1/2 lb. cut pork ribs
Bay leaves
Juniper berries
Caraway seed

Place 2 pieces of bacon on the bottom of a crock. Add a layer of sauerkraut, 1 bay leaf, 6 juniper berries and a sprinkling of caraway seeds. Place a layer of salted pork ribs on top of the sauerkraut. Cover the ribs with the rest of the sauerkraut and repeat seasoning. Cover crock and bake in oven at 350 degrees for 3 hours.
