1/2 c. brown sugar 2 tsp. cinnamon 6 tbsp. butter 4 tbsp. honey or maple syrup 1/2 c chopped nuts or raisins 2 loaves frozen bread dough, thawed 4 tbsp. butter, softened 1/2 c. sugar 2 tsp. cinnamon In a 9x13 inch pan, heat first four ingredients at 350 degrees until melted; stir in nuts or raisins. Roll dough into a 9x13 inch rectangle. Top with butter using the back of a spoon to spread evenly on dough. Combine sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over dough. Starting with short end, roll dough and pinch ends. Cut each loaf into 8 slices. Place on top of heated mixture in pan. Let rise to double its size. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes. Cool slightly, then turn upside down onto serving platter. Makes 16 buns. |
