STEAMED CRANBERRY PUDDING 
2 c. cranberries, cut in half
2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/3 c. flour
Pinch salt
1 egg
1/3 c. hot water
1/2 c. molasses

Sift flour, powder and salt. Set aside. Beat egg, water and molasses. Mix together and add cranberries. Turn into a well greased mold pan (a 1 pound coffee can will work). Cover with foil and steam for 1 1/2 hours.

SAUCE:

1 c. butter
1 c. cream (whipping or Half and Half)
2 c. sugar

Boil, stirring often until slightly thick, add a few drops of vanilla, this will cause sauce to swell up and boil over so be prepared. Pour hot sauce over pudding slices.
