HOLIDAY FRUIT BREAD 
1 lb. raisins
2 c. boiling water
2 c. sugar
4 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 c. chopped English walnuts
1/4 lb. butter
3 beaten eggs
1 tsp. salt
4 c. flour

Mix first three ingredients; let stand overnight. Stir in eggs and sugar; add remaining ingredients; mix well. Pour batter in three loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
