KIDNEY BEAN CASSEROLE 
1 lg. onion
1 lb. ground beef
1 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
2 (15 oz.) cans kidney beans, drained
Paprika
1 c. grated cheddar

Saute onion and ground beef in butter until browned. Stir in salt, pepper and tomato paste. Place half of mixture in 1 1/2 quart casserole; top with beans then half of cheddar. Repeat layers with remaining beef, beans and cheddar. Sprinkle with paprika. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes.
