ITALIAN MEATLOAF | |
2 lb. ground beef 1 egg 3/4 c. cracker crumbs 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce 1 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper 1/2 tsp. oregano 2 c. shredded cheddar cheese Combine beef, cracker crumbs, 1 can of tomato sauce, and seasonings. Mix and roll out on wax paper; sprinkle cheese over the mixture and roll (like jelly roll). Place in greased baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Drain off excess fat and put other can of tomato sauce on top and bake an additional 15 minutes. |
