HELL-FIRE CRISPY BALLS 
1 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 egg
1/3 c. tomato juice, heated
1 sm. onion, finely chopped
1 tsp. Tabasco pepper sauce
Vegetable oil

In medium bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir in egg, tomato juice, onion and Tabasco sauce. In large skillet over medium-high heat, bring 1 inch oil to 350 degrees. Drop batter by teaspoonful into oil; fry, a few at a time, 5 to 7 minutes or until golden brown on all sides. Drain on paper towels. Serve immediately. Makes 2 dozen balls.
