PECAN LOGS 
1/2 lb. sweet butter
1/2 c. powdered sugar
2 c. chopped pecans
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Thoroughly grease a baking sheet. Cream butter. Add sugar, pecans, salt, flour and vanilla. Taking a teaspoonful at a time, form small balls and roll these into 2 inch logs. Place on baking sheet and bake for about 20 minutes, or until lightly golden. When cool, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
