CHRISTMAS FUDGE 
3 c. granulated sugar
1 1/2 c. evaporated milk
1 c. white corn syrup
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. candied pineapple, diced
1/2 c. red candied cherries, diced
1/2 c. green candied cherries, diced
2 c. English walnuts, chopped
2 c. pecans, chopped
1 1/2 c. nuts, chopped (your choice)

Combine first 4 ingredients. Bring to a boil over medium heat to soft ball stage, stirring often. Remove from heat and add vanilla. Beat at low speed until fudge begins to hold shape. Stir in fruit and nuts. Pour in buttered 9 x 13 x 2 inch pan. Cool. Cut into squares.
