Chicken Wing Dip

Thought this would be a quick alternative to the original recipe using shredded cooked chicken breast.. It sure was easy but canned chicken tasted like tuna fish ... So in all it resembled a buffalo tuna dip .. Not very appetizing !

Kelly, I find that it tastes spicier (aka better) with Ranch, and a little less than it asks for. All up to taste. :)

Has anyone made it with the ranch once AND the bleu cheese once and have an opinion on which is better? Making this this weekend for a party and I'd like to know before I go shopping! And I'm also from Rochester, NY! :)

How funny. Like a previous reviewer, I was looking for the recipe I made before, but couldn't quite remember it when I came across this. I like to transfer it to the crock pot after cooking it on the stove too rather than cook the whole thing in the oven like most other recipes say. The funny thing is that my husband is from Franklinville & the first time I had this dip was with his family there.

As a reply to Casey in Texas. Just a note that it is 4 to 6 oz of hot sauce not 4.... 6oz bottles. That would be way too much and make it soupy.

This is a sure-fire hit for any gathering!! I cut the hot sauce down to 12 oz. to cut some of the "tang".

This is a great recipe! I lost my written copy and couldn't remember the measurements. So glad to find the exact same one again, and from someone close to home! Thanks!
