NANNA'S CHOCOLATE CAKE 
2 squares chocolate
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/2 c. milk with 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. flour with 1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. vanilla

Melt chocolate and butter. Stir in rest of ingredients. I always double this recipe and use white butter frosting.

I make the cake in a saucepan and bake it in a large angel cake tin. If recipe is not double, then a small angel cake tin could be used.

Bake at 350 degrees until done.
