REFRIGERATOR PICKLES 
4 c. sugar
4 c. vinegar
1/2 c. salt
1 1/2 tsp. turmeric
1 1/3 tbsp. celery seed
1 1/2 tbsp. mustard seed
3 lg. onions, sliced
1 gal. sliced cucumbers

Bring to boil all ingredients. Pack cucumbers and onions in gallon jar. Pour liquid over onions and cucumbers. Let set 5 days in refrigerator. Pickles will save 5 months if always refrigerated.
