QUICK PICKLES 
1/2 lg. cucumber
1 lg. Bermuda onion
1 c. cider vinegar
Salt and pepper

Pare cucumber and slice thin. Peel onion and slice into thin rings. Cover both with vinegar, to which salt and pepper have been added. Chill in refrigerator. At meal time, remove cucumber and onions from vinegar and serve as a pickle.
