SWEDISH NUTS 
1/4 c. butter
1 (12 oz.) can mixed nuts or peanuts (do not use dry roasted)
2 egg whites
1 c. sugar
Dash of salt

Melt butter in 9 x 13 inch pan at 325 degrees. Beat egg whites until foamy. Add sugar and salt; beat until stiff. Add nuts to meringue mixture. Put into buttered pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 30 minutes, stir every 10 minutes. Remove from pan onto waxed paper; cool and serve. Do not leave in pan too long or they will stick.
