1 c. mashed sweet potatoes
2/3 c. sweet milk
4 tbsp. melted butter
3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 tbsp. sugar
1 1/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt

Mix mashed sweet potatoes, milk and melted butter. Add remaining ingredients sifted all together, to make soft dough. Turn out on floured board and toss lightly until outside looks smooth. Roll out 1/2 inch thick, cut with floured biscuit cutter. Place on greased pan. Bake in hot oven at 450 degrees for about 15 minutes. Makes about 12.
