TACOS 
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1 clove garlic, minced
1 sm. onion, chopped
3 pinches ground cumin
2-3 tbsp. chili powder
1 tbsp. vinegar
1/2 tsp. dried oregano
1 pkg. corn tortillas (12)

Brown beef, onion and garlic in frying pan. When brown, add spices and vinegar and about 1/2 cup of water. Simmer slowly until ready to use. Fry the tortillas in light oil until they are as crisp as you like. Drain on paper towels, fold and fill with 2 tablespoons of the meat.

Serve at the table with bowls of chopped green onions, tomatoes, black olives, avocados, lettuce, hot taco sauce, grated Monterey Jack or sharp cheese and sour cream or try experimenting with any of your own fillings. Let people fill their own.
