APPLE CAKE PIE 
2 tbsp. butter
5 apples, peeled & sliced thin
1 egg
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. sugar, brown or white
1 tsp. lemon juice
1/2 c. plus 1 tbsp. flour
1/4 c. butter
1 tsp. cinnamon

Melt 2 tablespoons butter in pie pan. Add apples. Sprinkle with lemon juice. Sprinkle 1/4 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon over this.

TOPPING: Cream together 1/4 cup butter, 1/2 cup sugar and 1 egg. Add flour and baking powder. Mix into creamed mixture and spread over apples in pie pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes. Serve with ice cream or whipped cream.
