APPLE COBBLER 
3 apples, peeled and chopped
cinnamon
1 stick butter
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. shortening
1/3 c. milk
2 c. water
2 c. sugar

Melt butter in 9 x 13 pan. Mix apples and cinnamon. Combine flour, shortening and milk. Roll in a jelly roll, filling with apples. Pour water and sugar (dissolved) over pie.

Bake at 350°F for about 1 hour.

This recipe can also be a great peach cobbler.
