PEGGY'S FRUIT DIP 
2 egg yolks
Dash of salt
1/3 c. sugar
1 med. container Cool Whip or 1/2 c. chilled whipping cream
2 tbsp. light rum or 3 tbsp. orange juice plus 1/4 tsp. vanilla

Beat egg yolks with salt until thick and lemon colored. Add sugar gradually; beat until thick. In chilled bowl, beat cream until thick. Fold egg mixture into whipping cream, then fold in rum. Makes 1 1/3 cups. Serve with sliced fruit - bananas, pineapple, apples, grapes, orange sections, pears, etc.

FRUIT DIP:

1/2 c. sour cream
1 tbsp. honey
1 tbsp. orange juice

Combine the above ingredients and serve.
