MIRIAM HAYES' "MAYONNAISE
BISCUITS"
 
1 c. self-rising flour
1/2 c. milk
3 tbsp. mayonnaise

Put flour and mayonnaise in small mixing bowl, gradually add milk, stirring until smooth.

Grease muffin tins with 1/3 teaspoon vegetable oil per muffin. Fill each tin 1/2 full with mixture or evenly divided to use all of batter. Bake at 400 degrees F. for 15 minutes. Double recipe for 12 muffins.

Note: Measure mayonnaise in level tablespoon or you will get a mayonnaise flavor.
