CHOCOLATE NUT PUDDING 
1 c. flour
3/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. milk
3/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. nutmeats
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg
2 tbsp. melted butter
3 tbsp. cocoa
1 3/4 c. hot water

Mix dry ingredients together. Beat egg; add milk, vanilla, and butter. Blend and stir into dry ingredients. Empty batter into square 8x8 pan.

Mix brown sugar, cocoa, nuts, and hot water together. Pour over batter. Bake uncovered in 350 degree oven for 40 minutes. Serve piping hot with ice cream and whipped cream, if desired, topped with a cherry.
