Cream together. Add cooled date mixture and 1 1/3 cups flour. Beat well. 3/4 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt

Add to above mixture. Blend. Pour into 9x13 pan, greased, and sprinkle batter with 1/3 cup granulated sugar, 1 cup chocolate chips and 1 cup chopped nuts. Bake 350 degrees about 35 minutes.
