AMISH FRIENDSHIP BREAD 
1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 c. milk

Mix ingredients together with a wooden spoon and put in a container with a tight fitting lid. -Do not use metal spoons, bowls, etc. -Do not refrigerate.

Day 1 - do nothing.

Days 2, 3, 4 - stir with wooden spoon.

Day 5 - Add: 1 cup flour, 1 cup sugar, 1 cup milk.

Days 6, 7, 8, 9 - Stir with wooden spoon.

Day 10 - Add: 1 cup flour, 1 cup sugar, 1 cup milk.

Stir. pour 1 cup into each of three containers to give to three friends with these instructions.

To the remaining batch add:

2/3 c. oil
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt

You may add fruits or nuts before baking. Pour into 2 (9 x 3 inch) loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-50 minutes. Cool 10 minutes.
