BUTTERSCOTCH DATE COOKIES 
2 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. sour cream
1/2 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 c. chopped dates
2/3 c. chopped nuts

Mix and drop on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.

FROSTING:

1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/4 c. butter
2 to 3 tbsp. milk

Bring above to a boil. 1/4 tsp. vanilla

Add to above.
