MICROWAVE HERBED CHICKEN
2 1/2 - 3 lbs. chicken, cut up or 1 3/4 lb. boneless, cut breast pieces in half if very lg.
2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. olive or vegetable oil
1/4 c. finely chopped onion
1/4 c. lemon juice
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. dried basil
1/4 tsp. marjoram
1/4 tsp. oregano
2 lg. cloves garlic, finely chopped

Place butter and oil in rectangular dish. Microwave, uncovered, on high until butter melts. Stir in remaining ingredients except chicken. Place chicken in dish, turning to coat with herb mixture. Arrange pieces with thickest parts to outside edges of dish. Cover with waxed paper and microwave on high (100%) 10 minutes. Rotate dish 1/2 turn. Microwave until thickest pieces are done, 6 to 10 minutes longer. Serves 6.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
