NO KNEAD REFRIGERATOR ROLLS | |
2 pkgs. yeast 1 c. milk 2 tsp. salt 1 egg 1 c. water 1/2 c. sugar 4 1/2 to 5 1/2 c. flour 1/4 c. shortening Heat milk and shortening until shortening is melted, add cold water and pour over yeast and sugar. Add half of flour, salt and egg. Beat until smooth. Add remaining flour. Make into rolls. Place on greased pan. Allow to raise for 2 hours. Bake at 400 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes. May store remaining dough in refrigerator covered with damp cloth. Will keep 5 days. |
