BUBBLE AND SQUEEK 
3 potatoes do not peel
4 c. chopped cabbage
1 med. chopped onion
3 slices cooked bacon
1/2 c. chopped ham
Salt and pepper to taste

Boil potatoes with skins cool and mash just a little with you hands do not remove skins (set aside). Blanch 4 cups chopped cabbage. Drain add onion, crumbled bacon, ham, salt and pepper. Mix with your hand pat mixture in same skillet with bacon grease. Brown well, broil top to brown. Cut in wedges and serve. Tasty.
