MUSHROOM FRITTERS 
1 c. packaged biscuit mix
1 c. chopped mushrooms
2 tbsp. sliced green onions
1 tbsp. chopped pimiento
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. celery seed
1 beaten egg yolk
1/4 c. sour cream
1 egg white
Oil for deep fat frying

In bowl mix first 6 ingredients. Beat egg white until stiff, fold into mushroom mixture. Heat oil in heavy saucepan or skillet. Drop batter by tablespoonfuls into hot oil. Fry about 2 minutes or until golden brown, turning once. Drain and serve hot. Makes 12.
