GUM DROP COOKIES 
4 eggs, well beaten
2 c. brown sugar
1 tbsp. cold water
2 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. walnut meats
1 c. cut gum drops

Beat eggs very light. Add sugar, beat again. Add water. Sift flour and cinnamon and sprinkle over nut meats and gum drops. Add rest of flour and cinnamon to mixture. Fold in floured nuts and gum drops. Bake in cookie pan about 10 to 15 inches square. Cut in squares when cool. If you want the cookies frosted, do it before you cut them.
