I've saved this recipe as in my opinion it's one of the best for this type of meal. Quantities are right as are the cooking times.

With so few ingredients, this recipe was quick and easy to prepare yet the flavor was outstanding and the legs were moist and juicy. Not having a clove of garlic handy I used a tablespoon of prepared ground garlic and lost little in the flavor department.

I agree that you can cut back on the breading and cheese. I did cut back and still had some left over. I used the Italian style bread crumbs and left out the oregano. Also added 2 tsp. of Watkins Turkey Rub because I had it. Great easy recipe to start from and add anything you want to make it "your" recipe!

This does taste great!! It's a great blend of seasonings....I am not very good in the kitchen and even I could do this recipe and it was very easy and good!! Unlike everyone else though I had nothing left over : D

I substituted crumbled Sociables crackers for bread crumbs, and cut the recipe in half because I only had 6 legs. These would be delicious served with angel hair pasta and marinara sauce. Yum!

I quartered the recipe using 3 chicken quarters. I reduced on the butter by 1/4. Tasted delicious; my son who doesn`t like meat loved it. So did my husband. The preparation time was great;I had umple time to work with my son on his homework.

This was delicious! Very easy to make between getting home, doing homework, settling the baby down. This recipe was a cinch and the Parmesan cheese and oregano mix was delicious. I loved it! My kids did too!! However leftovers did not taste as good as day 1.

I quartered the recipe and made less chicken. I also added a little ground red pepper, for some kick.

Tastes great! However, I found that ther recipe called for way too much bread crumb mixture and butter. I would cut it in half next time. I used 8 thighs and 4 legs and there was way too much crumbs and butter left.

The amount of butter and bread crumbs is fine because the recipe calls for 12 chicken legs or thighs. I only had 4 chicken legs so I used only 1/4 of the bread crumbs mixture and butter. It came out really delicious. In fact, made it into the cycle of meals we eat. There is leftover butter but it is great to pour over rice and vegetables.

 Carolina (Minnesota) replies:
The flavor is great, however I agree with Marilyn, WAY too much butter and breading. I had 14 very large drumsticks, and still had over half the butter and breading left. If I had drizzled all that over it, it would have been swimming in butter and gooey topping
