LILLA CHIPLEY'S STRAWBERRY
FROZEN PIE
 
1 lg. (15 oz.) can evaporated milk
1 c. sugar
1 (10 oz.) frozen strawberries, chopped

Chill evaporated milk thoroughly (a must). Whip milk, adding sugar gradually. When whipped fold in strawberries. Freeze. Keep leftovers in the freezer.

CRUST:

Crush vanilla wafer crumbs. Line pie plate bottom with a thin layer. Arrange whole wafers around side or use bought or homemade graham cracker crust.

(This is my mother's recipe and her children and grandchildren insisted she serve it whenever they were home.)
