BANANA SPLIT DESSERT #1 
2 to 3 bananas
1/2 gallon ice cream
1 c. chopped peanuts
1 c. chocolate chips
1 pkg. graham cracker crumbs
1 (13 1/2 oz.) Cool Whip
1/2 c. butter
2 c. confectioners' sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. evaporated milk

Cover bottom of 11 x 15 inch pan with crumbs, save some for top. Slice bananas and put over crumbs. Slice ice cream in 1/2 inch slices and place over bananas. Sprinkle with nuts. Freeze until firm. Melt chocolate chips and butter and add confectioners' sugar and evaporated milk.

Cook until thick and smooth stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add vanilla. Cool mixture and pour over ice cream. Freeze until firm. Put Cool Whip on and top with crumbs. May be stored in freezer for a couple weeks.
