MAPLY APPETIZERS | |
1 (13 1/2 oz.) can pineapple 2 (8 oz.) pkgs. brown-n-serve sausage or 1 lb. smokeys 4 tsp. corn starch 1/2 c. maple syrup 1/3 c. vinegar 1/2 tsp. salt 1/3 c. water 1 lg. green pepper, chopped 1/2 c. drained maraschino cherries (optional) Drain pineapple and reserve syrup. Cut sausage into bite size pieces. Brown. Blend cornstarch, salt, pineapple, syrup, water, and vinegar. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Add all other ingredients and cook five minutes to warm. May be served over rice. |
