SAUSAGE & PEPPER APPETIZER 
3-4 lb. Italian sausage, sliced about 1" (slice while still slightly frozen)
12-16 oz. Italian style pepper salad
1/2 lb. fresh sliced or canned mushrooms
1-2 tbsp. cooking wine
Pepper to taste

Fry sausages until completely cooked. Drain well to remove grease. Wipe pan of excess grease. In frying pan on simmer, add peppers, mushrooms and wine; stir well. Add sausage and continue to simmer until ready to serve.
