CHRISTMAS MORNING CASSEROLE 
16 slices bread with crusts removed
1/2 lb. shaved baked ham, deli style
1 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
6 eggs
3 c. milk
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
Pepper and onion powder to taste

TOPPING:

1 c. crushed corn flakes or bread crumbs
1/4 c. melted butter

Coat bottom of 9x13 inch baking dish with no-stick cooking spray. Layer 8 slices of bread to cover bottom of dish, making sure to fill gaps. Cover bread layer with ham and then cheese, then onion and green pepper. Top with layer of remaining bread slices.

Beat eggs with milk, dry mustard, Worcestershire sauce and seasonings. Pour slowly over casserole. Cover dish with plastic wrap and store overnight in refrigerator.

Before baking, sprinkle with crushed corn flakes or bread crumbs, then drizzle melted butter over top. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
