LASAGNA IN A BUN 
3/4 lb. ground beef
8 oz. tomato sauce
1/2 of a 1.3 oz. env. dry onion soup
1/4 tsp. oregano (crushed)
1/4 tsp. basil (crushed)
1 beaten egg
3/4 c. Ricotta or cream style cottage cheese, drained
1/2 c. shredded Mozzarella
8 hard rolls

Cook ground beef until brown, drain. Add tomato sauce, dry soup mix and herbs. Cook, covered, over low heat 5 minutes. Uncover, cook 10 to 15 minutes more, stirring frequently.

Meanwhile, in bowl combine eggs and cheeses. Cut thin slice off tops of rolls, hollow out centers, leaving 1/2 inch thick shells. Spoon half the meat mixture into bottom of rolls. Spoon cheese mixture over meat. Spoon remaining meat mixture atop cheese. Cover with roll tops. Wrap in foil. Bake 400 degrees 20 to 25 minutes.
