CHOCOLATE CARAMEL CAKE 
1 German chocolate cake mix
1 (14 oz.) bag caramels
1 c. chocolate chips
1 stick butter
1/2 sm. can evaporated milk

Mix cake as directed. Pour 1/2 batter in floured and greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Cook at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Melt butter, caramel, and milk. Set aside. Pour chips and pecans on baked cake then add caramel mixture. Pour remaining batter on top and bake on top rack for another 20 minutes.
